'Twilight' graphic novel sneak peek: It's all about biology

twilight-graphic-novel.jpgTwihards, exactly how Twi-hardcore are you? Enough to experience "Twilight" through hand-drawn pictures?

The popular Stephenie Meyer vampire franchise goes comic book with "Twilight: The Graphic Novel." The first volume will be published by Yen Press on March 16, and EW.com got a sneak peek.

As you can see, the graphic novel by Young Kim is done manga style. We love how Bella looks here, very airy and romantic.

An additional peek at the inner pages reveals that Kim is fairly faithful to the source material. She even includes those early scenes between Bella and Edward in biology class, looking through a microscope at cells. Prophase is so romantic!

Apparently, Meyer was involved with adapting her books into graphic novels. The best news from the interview with EW though is that Meyer says she may return to the "Twilight" world one day through her writing.

Will you check out the graphic novel? If Meyer went back, whose story would you want her to write about?

meh, get Alan Moore or Frank Miller to do it, and then we'll talk.

Why is Bella BLONDE??? This looks like a total FAIL. Another way to milk more money from the fans. I'm not falling for it. Bella does NOT have Blonde streaks, yuck!

Ellen, it's not about hair color, it's about HEART.

I'm a Twilight fan but I couldn't care less about this. I'll definately be skipping it. They're just trying to milk every last cent they can. It's getting pathetic.

it's pretty. but like other's have said overkill.

however i'm sure the teen audience will eat it up.

I bought this and it's wonderful! The art is amazing and it stays true to the book, unlike the movies. It's not "overkill". Don't judge it until you flip through it. I'm in my thirties by the way.
