'Twilight: Eclipse' script leaked? Jackson Rathbone is in SO much trouble.
The Internet -- and especially Twitter -- was abuzz on Tuesday (Jan. 5) with word of a leaked script from the upcoming third "Twilight" movie "Eclipse."While The Dish Rag did easily locate a site where a pdf version of the complete script can supposedly be downloaded, we declined. Who knows what sort of vampiric computer virus might come along for the ride.
However, a screenshot of the first page of the blue script (meaning it's an early one and not likely what was shot from) has also been making the rounds. If this is the real deal, Jackson Rathbone (who plays Jasper) can expect to get a talking to from Summit very, very soon.
NOTE: They emblazon people's names across these things for a reason. And surprisingly it's not only because stars like to see their names in print.
It appears the movie opens with Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) turning Riley (Xavier Samuel) into the vampire that she plans to send after Bella (Kristen Stewart).
This isn't the first time "Twilight" has had a script escape. Last May, a hairdresser found a "New Moon" script in a St. Louis trash bin. She returned it to the studio in exchange for a pair of premiere tickets.
It was speculated that that script found it's way to to that particular garbage can courtesy of Anna Kendrick who was filming "Up in the Air" in St. Louis and plays Jessica in the "Twilight" saga.

What's the big deal about a leaked script??? It's not like fans don't know how the story turns out... this IS based on a very popular book remember.
yeah, no kidding. it's not like everyone doesn't know the story. also, that rosenberg girl (screenwriter) is going to mutilate it like she did the other two....so what's the big deal??
It's not a big deal that the script leaked. If it was good, it would only inspire more fans to see the movie. However, Rosenberg is a craptast!c script writer. A good script writer can improve and take a source material to a different level or at least keep the essence of it but Rosenberg makes things worse. And what's even more unbelievable, she gets paid for it! Personally from now on I am staying away from anything written by Rosenberg and I am sure many other people will do the same.
Heck they probably told him to do it. Give me a break it's all a setup.
I personally think it's bogus because I heard a very long time ago that they don't put the actor's name across it like that. For New Moon they did water marked copies (or something similar) to identify people's copy.
Jackson is not stupid. He would never deliberately leak a script to the Internet that has his name all over it. Give me a break. There has to be an innocent explanation.
I Don't think he did it. I don't think Melissa is that bad of a screenwriter either. many writers that were before her, i think didnt even fall in with any of the story points from this saga. I think she did pretty good. I like her work in this and Dexter. Can anybody else think of a better screenwriter? Even though i don't know why she fleshed out the Riley character more, but oh well. true, I wouldn't jump to see a movie just bc she wrote it, but I don't think she did bad. She is very passionate about the story whereas some other screenwriter could have been just doing for the paycheck.
excactly.. it dont mata tht the script is leaked. us fans now all about wat happenes.. so every1 can stop cryin :P
tbh i think this is stupid and if jackson gets in trouble from summit then summit are morons
he would never post his script online espically if it had his name across it
there will be a perfectly innocent explanation like he lost it while he was on tour with 100 monkeys and someone has found it and decided 2 post it on the net
The filming for this movie is over. The disposal of scripts should be the production company's responsibility, not the actors. And accountability of the scripts would have been done.
