'Teen Mom's' Farrah Abraham allegedly choked by own mother

MTV's hit reality show "Teen Mom" shows the ugly realities of teen motherhood. And for 18-year-old Farrah Abraham -- one of the four young mothers the show follows -- it looks like life is getting even uglier.Farrah's hometown paper reports that her mother, Debra Danielson, was arrested on Saturday (Jan. 16) after she allegedly choked and hit Farrah at the home they both share with Farrah's baby girl, Sophia.
The incident appears to have begun when Danielson threw a shirt at Farrah and Sophia began to cry. When Farrah began to yell at her mother in response, Danielson allegedly grabbed her by the throat and then hit her on the side of the head.
Police say that Farrah's lips were cut in several places to the right of her mouth.
The profile for Farrah on the MTV site speaks to the couple's troubled relationship:
"Farrah lives at home with her mom, Debra, who helps with childcare but also nags Farrah about every decision -- especially about how to take care of Sophia. Farrah wants nothing more than to keep dating and have a normal teenage life, but her family constantly reminds her that she's a teen mom, not a normal teenager -- and she shouldn't be going out all the time."
Farrah was originally profiled on the MTV show "16 and Pregnant," when she went from a high school cheerleader to a single mother. Making matters even harder, her baby's father was killed in a car accident.

I wish we could get a support group for Farrah's Mom. This poor woman has had to endure the abuse dished out by this teenage brat too long. As a mom I know why she does it..to protect the baby.

that stupid little ***** should have had the **** knocked out of her a LONG time ago! i actually used to live accross the street from them, and i baby sat her spoiled rotten butt! she has ALWAYS treated her parents like ****! calling her father "michael" instead of dad, and throwing temper tantrums over the STUPIDEST ****. i say "WAY TO GO DEB!" however, you should have done it 10 years ago when she started acting out, and maybe you wouldn't be dealing with these charges! farrah is a spoiled rotten *** drama queen *****, who needs put in her place! Farrah really needs 2 grow up im also a teen mom & ppl think because I was only 18 when I had my son I was going 2 act like farrah she gives young moms a bad name if I disrespect me parents the way she did I also would b dead but because I respect them they don't mind helping me out with my kid she needs 2 grow up and face reality.
