SAG Awards 2010: Stana Katic is not Mischa Barton, but we understand the confusion

While pulling red carpet photos, there is always those one or two people that it makes little to no sense for them to be at the event. And Saturday's (Jan. 23) SAG Awards were no different. Yes, Adam Lambert, we're looking at you.But what really gave us pause when Mischa Barton's name started cropping up in photo credits. Mischa Barton? Why on earth would she be at the SAG Awards? For her two episodes and done of "TBL: The Beautiful Life," or for her psycho turn in the direct-to-Lifetime movie "Homecoming"?
Turns out Mischa wasn't at the SAG Awards. Rather, at least two photo services decided "Castle" star Stana Katic was actually Mischa and misidentified her.
And we can definitely see the resemblance. If the 24-year-old Mischa (her birthday is Sunday) gets her act together and stops sporting periodic bouts of bloat, she could look as good as the 31-year-old Stana does in six or seven years and that's hardly a bad thing.

Why shouldn't Adam be at the SAG Awards. Hollywood named him Young Hollywood Artist of the Year 2009. He's had SAG membership for about 10 years now,was in The Ten Commandments opposite Val Kilmer at the Kodak recently and in Wicked, etc etc etc. You guys at Zap2it are such Aholes!
How could anyone mix up a wonderful actress (Stana Katic) with a washed-up, has-been (Misha Barton)?
Why would Adam Lambert be a SAG member? Being a reality show contestant doesn't qualify you. Stage work doesn't either. You can only have SAG membership if you've been in a SAG film, show or commercial.
I think Stana is pretty and talented, but if she wasn't presenting or nominated I'm not sure why she was there either.
Why is this girl at the awards though? Didn't Castle get canceled a long time ago?
I wish I would have known that Adam Lambert was there. I would have watched the show if I would have known. I thought there would be more pictures of Adam for this story also. The only reason I ever check this site is to read, and see pictures of Adam. I wish the beautiful song that Adam sang for the movie '2012', 'A Time For Miracles' would have been eligible for an award. I really would love to see him sing that song live. He would have stolen the show once again.

Stana shouldn't take it personally. I would be thrilled if someone mistook me for a girl 8 years my junior! She looks amazing.
Castle is in its 2nd season! Make sure to catch it on Monday nights! Great TV! Stana and Nathan are great in it!
