Rod Blagojevich already apologizing for saying 'I'm blacker than Barack Obama'

Before we could even write a story about Blagojevich's interview in the February issue of Esquire in which he claims to be "blacker" than President Obama, Blago is already apologizing for his comments. This guy, he was catapulted in on hope and change, what we hope the guy is. What the f**k? Everything he's saying's on the teleprompter. I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived. I saw it all growing up.
So let us get this straight... to be "black" is to shine shoes and live in a (what we think Blago is implying) is a small apartment and work at a laundromat? Is that right?
Blago has already started apologizing, telling WLS Radio out of Chicago on Monday (Jan. 11) that it was a "stupid thing to say."
Uh... yeah. Well done, alleged-Senate-seat-selling ex-governor.

I think he could have said this differently but I understand his comment. He wasn't tring to say to be black is to shine shoes and live in a small apt. What he obviously meant was that he had a harder time getting to where he is now than obama. Let's face it for anyone to be president, they are groomed from an early age, must attend the right school(ivy league) and so on. He was stating that Obama was using his ethnicity (his is mixed by the way not black) to win votes by saying he had it hard and giving the impression that he lived like the average black family. which is very far from fact. don't take my word or the media's word for it. go read for yourself.
Well he did have one thing correct Obama would be lost without his teleprompter.
c'mon, Obama didn't grow up super-privileged! his family wasn't exactly rolling in dough, just pretty middle class. he got into good colleges thru merit, not by being from a fancy privileged family. duh.
