RIP 'Twilight's' Taylor Lautner? Nope, he and his abs are alive

Taylor Lautner may have won a People's Choice award, but the true testament to his popularity is being targeted for an Internet death hoax.

Over the weekend, the "Twilight" star was rumored to be dead from a cocaine overdose.

Um, excuse me? Mr. Fitness would not ruin his health that way. At least think of a plausible death rumor, like um, getting mobbed by adoring fans or benching too much.

Taylor's in good company. Other celebrities who've been targeted for the dubious death hoax honor this year are Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Will Smith and Eminem.







A rep for Summit Entertainment released the following semi-assuring statment: "I am almost 100-percent positive this is a hoax." The rep later confirmed Lautner's live status.
