Kate Gosselin's new hair comes with a $6,500 price tag, not including tip
The Dish Rag is going to go out on a limb here and say that whether one likes Kate Gosselin's new hair identity or not, it's not worth $6,500.However, if Kate were to pay for it -- which we doubt she did -- that's about what it would have cost her.
Ted Gibson, the "What Not to Wear" hairstylist who spent 20 hours giving Kate her new look for TLC cameras -- and who has worked with such celebrities as Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Renee Zellweger, Debra Messing, Amanda Bynes and Kate Walsh -- tells RadarOnline that's roughly what it would have cost if Kate had come to one of his salons.
"My haircuts are $950. The color would have been about $500, and the extensions, which were great length extensions, would probably cost about $5000."
Even at an hourly rate it took $322.50 an hour to get her to look like that. That's more than therapy.

ewwwww...looks bad from the back. & not so practical for a gal who doesn't like to have to mess with her hair so much (thus her last disaster hairstyle, if you could even call it that).
Kate get your money back and invest in Gary Coleman's penis.
Come on now. She needs to start taking care of her kids and not running all over the country showboating...
