Johnny Depp shows off his treasure chest for GQ's 'Most Stylish Men'
A bare-chested, tattooed, smiling Johnny Depp is on the cover of GQ's new 25 Most Stylish Men in the World issue.
Nice treasure chest, Johnny.
Barney's creative director/ fashion expert Simon Doonan says Depp's persona and unconventional style earned him the top spot on the list.
"Usually guys try to fit in; they don't want to get criticized," says Doonan. "At any red-carpet event, there are going to be guys who look spiffy in their Prada or Armani tuxedos, but you wait for Johnny Depp, because he's always going to look super-groovy and unconventional. He wears great man jewelry. He doesn't shy away from color. He's always peeking through his amazing hair. It doesn't matter if Johnny Depp's lying in a ditch -- he's always going to look incredible."
Also on GQ's stylish hit list: Brad Pitt, Jay-Z, LeBron James, Ed Westwick, Ryan Gosling, David Beckham, Daniel Day-Lewis, Tom Brady and Robert Pattinson.
We are so buying this issue. And we can't wait to see quirky Johnny in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland."

Johnny Depp and his Roman Polanski approving ways can gtfo. A cover with RPattz would have been much more appealing. Dude looks like he was starting to botox at the People's choice awards. I don't know why the media sucks up to this moron.
Johnny Depp is one of the MOST talented actors out there. It has taken most of the film industry 10 or more years to realise this. He is such a sharp dresser, when he wants to be, which is like any one of us. It's nice to see that in his career he hasn't just gone with the money makers, and has chosen his own path. If some of his recent choices have proven to be money makers, maybe that's because he is a good actor with a good script. The picture is great, although it does look like they have whitened his teeth and air brushed out his gold crowns.
He was HOT during his 21 jump street days and he still looks good, especially for him being 46. Go Johnny!
Johnny doesn't have gold crowns. That was just temporary for Captain Jack.
And who doesn't whiten their teeth? One thing for sure, Johnny looks good in or without anything. Period. Plus he has the style and humility for all occaisions.
He deserves top awards in every catagory!
