'Jersey Shore' Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino unbuttons at the Grammys

"Jersey Shore" star Mike Sorrentino (aka The Situation) actually unbuttoned his turquoise satin shirt on the red carpet at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

How is it that we are not surprised?

Still, all that upkeep shouldn't be kept under wraps. Why did he even bother with a shirt? Much less a jacket?

Mike wasn't hot-tubbing it on Grammy night. He was -- believe it or not -- an "Access Hollywood" red-carpet correspondent for the Grammys.

When your "Entertainment Tonight" competition is Adam Lambert, you have to pull out all the stops.

And he's probably opening his shirt to give everyone a whiff of his new cologne that will be called -- of course -- "The Situation."
