Is Paula Abdul ready for 'Dancing with the Stars?'
Paula Abdul may soon be on "Dancing with the Stars."And we are so excited! As a judge or a contestant, we have no clue. We're hoping contestant.
Here's the scoop: ABC has reportedly offered Abdul a $1,000,000 development deal, if she agrees to appear on the next season of "DWTS."
According to TMZ, in the proposed deal ABC would also let Paula do "The X Factor" with Simon Cowell.
Paula has to decide fast. If she's doing "DWTS" this season, taping starts soon, like in March.
The Dish Rag thinks this is an awesome idea for Paula, who had a bit of a rough career patch during those public "Idol" negotiations.
Paula has been looking toned and trim lately. She says she lost weight after stopping "American Idol" and has been dancing a lot. She's totally ready for this challenge.
Frankly, we've always thought Paula knows way more about dancing than singing. Not being catty, but she's a great choreographer and dancer. Singing, not so much.
An ABC rep won't confirm this news. They say they don't comment on casting.
We're keeping our fingers crossed for our wacky Paula to dance up a storm.

They can't cast her as a contestant. Don't be ridiculous. She's a choreographer. That would be like Warren Sapp playing a season of Peewee football.
Agreed with above, it doesn't seem fair to sign up a once professional dancer to compete in DWTS
maybe as the pro for a contestant.
Maybe she will replace Samantha Harris. One can hope.
