wooohooo taylor swift

Can't wait to see Christina Aguilera

why do millionaire stars need to ask us peasants for money. each of them could donated $500,000 and that would garner more than any telethon. it will costs several million just to put the thing on. (yes a few have, nearly all have not)

i would like to see a rule/law that says you can't make an appearance on a telethon without first disclosing how much cash you have donated personally.

it will be just like what rosie oddonnel encountered after 9/11, no stars wanted to donated, just make appearances.

I'd like to know why some people get so offended when celebrities take time out of their schedules to arrange benefits like this.

They are bringing attention to a problem and encouraging people to give what they can. I'm not rich by any means but I was still able to donate money. Every little bit counts--that's the entire point.

Well hopefully they can raise alot of money for the people in Haiti.

I love how some people can only see the dollar amount of things, Amanda, this telethon isnt about the celebrity, its about Haiti and its people, also if you wanna consider yourself a peasant, thats nice but dont put myslef and other people in ur selfish position, let the rest of us, who actually care and dont whine about the $ sign, do what we can to help others

100 million is more than enough and money we don't have. My area hospitals I'm paying for too. But my neighbor needs an operation, no telethon for that and all who are homeless do to the economy. May God help us!

It is great to see all these major and pay channel networks work together and not compete for ratings in order to help others that have suffered a major tragedy. Maybe those negative-minded people will someday be a victim and others will be saying that about you.

"why do millionaire stars need to ask us peasants for money."

'cause that is what they do. That's part of their job.

Hey, ctgottapee what have you done for me lately?

numb nuts - do you really think that the people of haiti need 'attention brought to their plight'.

They are taking advantage of them and us.

Just do what Sandra Bullock did - and shut up and try to act!
