'Hope for Haiti': $57 million raised sets disaster relief telethon record

hope-for-haiti-400.jpgTo date, the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon has raised $57 million from donations received via phone, text and web.

Donations will be taken for the next six months via the website at www.hopeforhaitinow.org, the phone number 877-99-HAITI, texting "GIVE" to 50555 and mail at Hope for Haiti Now 1201 W. 5th St. Suite T-700 Los Angeles, CA 90017.



In addition to the money raised via donations, the "Hope for Haiti" album has become the biggest one-day album pre-order in iTunes history. It is the current No. 1 album in 18 countries and "Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)" is currently the No. 1 song in 12 countries.

Congratulations to all who participated in any way. We hope people continue to donate and make that total even bigger.
