Fresh Faces: Bailee Madison on the horror of Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise
Meet the new Dakota Fanning.
Her name is Bailee Madision and she just starred in "Brothers" along with Tobey Maguire , Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman.
The Dish Rag spoke exclusively with Bailee at the Golden Globes Young Hollywood party. And at age 10, she was definitely the youngest star at the bash.
We talked with Bailee about filming "Don't be Afraid of the Dark," a horror film with Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes directed by Guillermo del Toro, and what Katie and Suri are really like.
On "Don't be Afraid of the Dark: "Its kind of like this thriller. I go and live with her [Katie] and my dad and discover these creatures in the basement who caught me and want me to become one of them. It's great. I've always wanted to do a movie like this. I was really, really excited."
What is Katie Holmes really like: "She is so sweet, so kind. She was like my mother on the set. When my mom couldn't get to me, she was there and she was making sure I was alright. It was such an amazing experience to meet her and you know, be a part of all the love she shares."
On Suri Cruise: "Suri is just the cutest little thing. It was so much fun. We would have dance parties and just would have so much fun. Suri is just such a little sweetheart. They're both so, so sweet."
On Suri's acting aspirations: "You know, she's got it. She could be a dancer. Whatever she wants, she can put her mind to it."
Bailee has already appeared on "House," "CSI: NY" and in the film "Bridge to Terabithia." Look for Bailee soon in the movies, "An Invisible Sign of my Own" and "Letters to God."
