Did Venus Williams go commando at the Australian Open?
The Blogosphere is trying to figure out if tennis star Venus Williams forgot to wear underwear for her recent Australian Open match against Lucie Safarova. Or if she just wore the skimpiest briefs we've ever seen. A tennis thong, perhaps?
And yes, these really are the important issues of the day.
Williams entered the court showing off her thigh wearing a slit skirt. Later, as ESPN was going to a break, they cut to a shot of Venus as she was bending over and viewers got a glimpse of what appeared to a barely-covered behind.

My family and I were watching this and at first we thought she was going commando too, but after some pausing and zooming we realized that she was actually wearing spankies that were almost the same color brown as her skin. Poor choice in color Venus...
