'Desperate Housewives' Teri Hatcher broke a rib while pole dancing

No, it's not a mid-life career change. It was just for an adorable scene on the new season of "Housewives." 

But during her pole dance, she actually broke a rib. At 45, she's darn lucky it wasn't a hip. Kidding!!! 

First, Teri had to wear a latex full-body fat suit, now she has to strip? She needs combat pay.

She keeps on showing David where the rib was located. Under her breast. 

Yeah, we know where ribs are, Teri.

But it's adorable the way she keeps touching her breast during her breathless explanation of how she had to try to stifle a sneeze due to the broken rib, which is now healed so she can blast away.

But are all these stunts -- fat suits and pole dancing -- working? Is it making the show better? Or just sillier.
