Dennis Hopper seeks divorce from wife of 14 years

Dennis Hopper, who's ailing from cancer, is looking to make a big life change.

The legendary actor has filed for divorce from wife Victoria, to whom he's been married for nearly 14 years, reports People.

The Los Angeles court document cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and says Hopper, 73, will seek to provide spousal support.

More importantly, however, Hopper is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Galen. Victoria is Hopper's fifth wife.

The divorce filing comes as something a surprise since recent (unsubstantiated) reports say that Hopper is in his final days battling prostate cancer and has been making his farewells to friends.
