Charlie Sheen's wife in rehab: Lawyer denies, stepfather confirms

Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller was reportedly spending a week in a North Carolina rehab. Then her lawyer denied it. But her stepfather says her attorney is flat out lying. You go, Dad!

First TMZ reported that Brooke flew with her mom go to a rehab in North Carolina. Her attorney said this is so not true.

He insisted she is simply convalescing at a medical facility in NC. Which made us wonder if she was getting mani-pedis and facials like Paula Abdul when she didn't go to rehab.

But now Brooke Mueller's stepfather Joe Fiore is telling Radaronline.com that she is in a treatment center called Two Dreams Outer Banks in North Carolina and that he's darn proud of her.

"She is there. But it's a recovery place, and it is in a resort setting and the picture I'd like to paint more is that she's seeking help she wants to, she dealing with this."

"This is a lot to deal with and I commend her for finally, you know, she couldn't go back to the house, what is she going to do? With all the problems and the stress? She's getting help and her mother is with her."
