Britney Spears had to get a court order to donate to Haiti?
Britney Spears wanted to give the dress off her back to Haiti.
But she had to get a court approval to donate her 2008 MTV Video Music Awards silver minidress to be auctioned off to help the Haitian earthquake victims.
Thankfully, they granted her request, which was necessary since her father is still the conservator of her affairs.
The 2008 MTV VMAs were the start of her big comeback. She won three awards at the show, including Video of the Year for "Piece of Me."
Maybe she should get another court dispensation to donate the bra and panties she wore at her MTV Music Video Awards performance in 2007.
They're both a part of music history, right?
