The Brangelina plot thickens. Everyone's favorite are-they-or-aren't-they-splitting couple emerged from hiding to appear at the Directors Guild Awards, where Pitt's friend Quentin Tarantino was nominated for Best Director for "Inglourious Basterds." Rumors have swirling that Brangelina has been meeting with lawyers to split their considerable assets and children, that they've been avoiding red carpets because of the impending break-up and that Brad Pitt has bought a bachelor pad/Batcave in the Hollywood hills.
However, Angie's dad Jon Voight called the rumors "nonsense" and the Jolie-Pitts seemed to be having a wonderful time at Saturday night's Directors Guild Awards.
So, could it be that they are just busy people who are not nominated for any of the awards whose red carpets they've skipped/are skipping and that they were meeting with lawyers to make sure that, God forbid, anything happens to either of them, their assets and children are protected and provided for?
Could be. But isn't it weird they weren't photographed together at the DGAs?
