Shane Sparks of 'America's Best Dance Crew' charged with child molestation

"America's Best Dance Crew" judge Shane Sparks was arrested Friday on eight counts of child molestation.The 40-year-old Sparks was taken into custody at his home Friday morning on a felony warrant charging eight counts of unlawful sexual acts with a minor, according to several reports. The incidents date back to 1994 and went on for several years, police reports say.
"It's an underage girl," L.A. County district attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison tells E!. "She was under 15 when the alleged crimes occurred. She is an adult now and came forward to authorities."
An MTV rep couldn't be reached for comment on Friday afternoon. MTV is scheduled to begin a new season of "ABDC" on Jan. 28, with Sparks returning as a judge; there's no word yet on how his arrest might affect the show.
Sparks has also worked as a choreographer on "So You Think You Can Dance," where he earned an Emmy nomination for best choreography last year.

Shadow -- she was molested! Think about this for a hot minute...maybe it took her all this time to come to terms with what happened and to decide that her story needed to be told. Let's not blame the victim here!
If you have never been molested or sexually assaulted, you should not comment on the "why." If you have, you will understand. Any person, male or female, under the age of 16, does not have the emotional sense or experience to understand that the perpetrator is acting totally inappropriately. The perpetrator knows the angle. Not the victim. Many families have incest that is not discovered or exposed for years because of this. Allow the woman to tell her story. The truth is always available for those who chose to listen!
The truth is, when you are famous or could be, living the idea and lifestyle in your mind, you can talk inexperienced young people into anything. Give the girl a chance to tell her story. Maybe, just maybe, he abused a 14 year old girl. Some men love young girls. It's a fact! They have power and the manipulation possibilities are endless. Especially if they use the words "I love you." Wait and watch!
for one i think that this is one that is just trying to get money anyway that she can this so say happened over 15yrs ago. i don't think it was right for him to be arrested or to even have to go through the process of his name being scandolized. that girl is out there too bad for that if it did happen why wait 15yrs?

Was she molested? Has there been Evidence to back up he statement, or at this point is it simply heresay? On the other side , has he been given the opportunity to deny it in court? Oh wait this was Just this past Friday. Stop making Judgements BEFORE all the facts come out.
As a person that was Accused of The same thing (Divorce and custody battle went ugly fast!) The Damage is horrible, The Social services investigation was "inconclusive" which means I am in a Limbo sort of Judgment forever. As a Result I lost my Security Clearance (20 years of Federal Service) and Lost 5 years with my kids. Even though they live with me now, And have said in court that nothing happend. IT CANNOT be taken back unless the accuser recants. WHich Should probably will for immunity , some money and more face time on TV.
1994 if he is 40 now he was 24 then and she was 15. He also was not famous then. I have been olested by a much older man he was 40 when I was 8...I told someone when I was 20...my family did not believe me, but I told someone. I think she waited too long to press charges, but she still had to tell someone.
