Some say that the way you spend your New Year's Eve sets the tone for the rest of your year. If you believe that, then no doubt you want ring in the New Year with one of your idols. Don't know how to accomplish that task? The Wrap, The Scene and MTV have done some of the work for you. We took the liberty of organizing it by city.Los Angeles, CA:
Do you dream of freaking out soccer moms and religious fanatics across the nation with your over-the-top persona and gay-licious stage antics? You may not be able to see him on TV, but you can see Adam Lambert performing live at Pamela Anderson's party at the Paramount Studios in L.A. $150

If you want to profess yourself the "Armenian Princess" and have the ability to transform your family's daily (and special) events into a national obsession, then you'll want to be at City Center in Las Vegas. Although, The Kardashians are hosting a party at LAX in L.A., reportedly Kim Kardashian will be joining "Desperate Housewives" hottie Eva Longoria at the New Year's opening of Eve nightclub (which Longoria co-owns), as well. $144

If being out-shadowed by the person you beat out in a televised singing contest is your thing, then get yourself to the Las Vegas strip. "American Idol" winner Kris Allen and finalist Alison Iraheta will be at the "hassle free" block party at Mandalay Bay. Oh, and you can also stay home and see them for free on FOX. Lindsay Lohan and her ex, DJ Samantha Ronson, are hosting the party at Mansion in Miami Beach, FL. They must have agreed to this gig months ago! With those two under one roof, the fireworks display should be spectacular. $1500

If you crave insanely loyal fans, want to indulge your adventurous fashion style and want to piss off religious fanatics, then this party is for you. MTV's Woman of the Year Lady Gaga will be at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. Admission tops off at $25,000 for a poolside cabana for an entourage of 25. $425

Do you dream of having other dudes hang on your every word, public fights with your vampy-looking girlfriend and want to make unmanageable bro-fros cool? MTV's "The Hills" and "Bromance" star Brody Jenner will be at Gansevoort in Miami. $375

If you want tween girls collecting every shirtless shot of you or you want a buff, hairless body even you can't keep your eyes off, then you want to be at Klutch in Miami Beach. "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz plus "Iron Man 2" and G4 TV nerd fantasy Olivia Munn will be there to set the new year off! $200

Do you want to be young, rich and fabulous? Do you want to dream of not only taming your wild mane of curly hair, but make teens all over the world wish they had it, too? "90210's" AnnaLynne McCord is hosting the party at B.E.D. in Miami Beach, FL. We don't know if any of the rest of the show's cast will be there, but our bet is AnnaLynne's sisters (and partners in crime), Angel and Rachel, will be. $125
