Michelle Duggar has emergency C-section, welcomes 19th baby
Michelle Duggar checked into the hospital for a gallstone problem, but will be leaving with a baby.
The "18 Kids and Counting" mom, who had been airlifted to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Arkansas because of contractions caused by gallstone problems over the weekend, has had an emergency C-section. She and husband Jim Bob Duggar welcomed their 19th little one, a baby girl Thursday night at the, reports People.
Following Duggar family tradition, the couple stuck with "J" names, calling her Josie Brooklyn.
Josie, who weighed only 1 lb., 6 oz., was originally due in spring. As expected, Josie is in the NICU for extended care. She is currently stable.
So far, there's no word about why the emergency surgery was needed, but it's possible complications from the gallbladder issue were the cause.
We wish the Duggar family the best and that Josie will be able to go home soon!

I wonder if they will take this as a "sign", its time to stop acting like dogs.
Her tubes need to be cut out, it been time for her to sat down and wait to be a grandmother, she must be getting a lot of state help
this woman shouldn't have so many kids.the world is over populated as it is now.
Unfortunately this planet doesn't need too many more people added to it. Whatever happened to population control? The over-population of our world is the primary force behind pollution and resource depletion. Why do the Duggars take more than their fair share of the world's resources just because they enjoy having a large family? That leaves less for the rest of us and our "two children per family", those of us in the responsible group. People should be reasonable about reproduction rights or we'll soon be forced to adopt laws like China had to put into effect to curb over- population.
They are a wonderful family who take care of each other and are very loving.
If you've ever watched their show you see the difference between the sweet Michelle and the shrewish Kate Gosselin. This is a family full of love.
I hope everything goes well for them.
How can you call these people trash? The life choices that they have made are up to them. The children all seem well loved and cared for plus they are happy and healthy in every way possible. Is it because they don't put their children off on others or distract them with video games that they are trash. I truly believe that a child is a gift from GOD and God has truly blessed this family!
If our world were full of families like the Duggars, no child would live off the government or born to people on drugs, etc. How dare anyone judge them? If the children raised by these two people ran our country when they grew up, what a much better world this would be. They know the meaning of real morals and values and keep God in the center of all of it. I feel sorry for those of you who pass judgment so easily on something you know nothing about. We also need more people like crzyRN. Thank you!
i fully agrre with what "CrzyRN" said she is right. the duggars are a very happy,loved family that do not get help from the goverment they work just like us even harder i believe, they are truely blessed by God and teach their childeren the right from the wrong and put a perfect example on what a real marriage is and how to be great parents.
How many months early is she? I only heard about her being pregnant a month or two ago and the baby is only a little over 1 lb. How can she survive?
First I would like to say congratulations to the Duggars on the birth of their daughter. For all of those who have negative comments about how they live or what they do.....watch the show, bet a part of you will wish that you could feel the love within this family in your own life. That you could depend on someone to be there for you, laugh with you or cry with you. That you could know that someone is praying for you and asking God to keep his hand upon you everyday. The Bible says that God will meet your needs.....so the Duggars needs were met by someone being interested enough in their lives to start a TV show, isn't it wonderful how God works through people that don't even know they are being utilized to meet someone else's needs. Way to go Duggars...God Bless you all and have a Merry CHRISTmas
