Is 'Avatar' star Sam Worthington the next Tom Cruise?

James Cameron's sci-fi epic "Avatar" is probably going to be the biggest movie of the 2009 holiday season.  As of today, it's estimated to have earned $400 million. Some observers are wondering if it could eventually hit $1 billion.

And there's no question that the film's Aussie lead Sam Worthington will emerge from his latest action adventure film (he was also in "Terminator Salvation") as a major movie star.

Just ask Cameron, who talks about Sam's star potential and his can-do attitude about working in motion capture for the first time.
