Golden Globes fashion competition heats up: who'll win best-dressed?

Rounding out the list, Gaboury Sidibe and Monique for "Precious" will both show how fuller-figured ladies can work a red carpet.

We've even got seasoned awards dressers Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep (again, a double nominee) to spice up the arrivals.

This means we will likely be treated to trashy and elegant, long and short, edgy and classi, sexy and sheer, and everything in between.

Will Emily do Prada again? Will Julia do vintage Valentino or Armani? Will Vera stick to new fave Dolce & Gabanna? Will Chanel continue to dress Marion, as they did when she won for "La Vie en Rose" in 2008? Will Sandra do another Dior? Will Penelope choose another design by L'Wren Scott or Marchesa? And will Gaby stay true to LA designer David Meister, who has been loving dressing her for events lately.
 

Let's just pray that Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley doesn't get his mitts on her and stuff her into metallic bolero like he did to Jennifer Hudson.
