Coroner's Office: Brittany Murphy's bed stand contained alarming amounts of prescription meds

A new report from TMZ about Brittany Murphy's tragic death details a stash of prescription medications found on the late actress's nightstand.
Among them were antidepressants, anti-seizure and anti-anxiety meds, and two types of pain relievers.
The notes also reveals: "No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered."According to TMZ's
source at the LA County Coroner's office, the meds specifically
included Topamax (anti-seizure meds, also prevents migraines),
Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med),
Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (tDiabetes and bipolar med),
Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol
(hypertension), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and
miscellaneous vitamins.
Does this resemble shades of Heath Ledger's untimely, unfortunate passing. Is Brittany's death another sad case of accidental over self-medication?
We won't know for sure what caused her death until the toxicology reports are released in a few weeks.

Hydrocodone is also one of the active ingredients in Vicoprofen (hydrocodone + ibuprofen). One of the comments on TMZ clearly suggests if she were taking both it would clearly be an OD situation, likely from one doctor not knowing what the other had prescribed.
OTOH, some of the other reports suggest H1N1 as a possible culprit; she's only 8 years past the CDC's young-people level for H1N1 (age 24), and she may have had other conditions that put her in the recommendations for her age group (25-64), though some of the TMZ comments suggest she didn't really have diabetes (a sure-fire indicator for flu shots).
Either way, it's very tragic. Let's not blame the mom or hubby now, shall we?
I think it's time Hollywood cleaned house with their crap doctors who give meds they don't need to celebs.
@Mikey - It's not just Hollywood. Big Pharma is everywhere. I know, I was there at one time.
Wow. A pic of her with Andy ****? Really???!!

That's highly unlikely, as it takes a lot more than a double-dose of hydrocodone to cause an overdose. The same goes for Ativan and Klonopin, they're both benzodiazapines (like Valium) but would be very unlikely to result in an overdose if you took both at the same time.
What's far more likely is a combination of two different drugs, like hydrocodone and a benzodiazapene. This can be a deadly combination, even if you've only taken the prescribed dose of each one.
This can be exacerbated if you don't have a lot of body weight. 5mg of oxycodone to someone that weighs 100 pounds is a lot more powerful than it is to someone that weighs 200 pounds, and a combination of different drugs is much more likely to cause a fatal reaction when you don't weigh very much.
