Battle of the Blondes in Black: Blake Lively vs Rachel McAdams

The stars hit the red carpet on Thursday (Dec. 17) for the New York premiere of "Sherlock Holmes." So who looked hotter, "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively or "Sherlock Holmes" star Rachel McAdams?
And in the spirit of full disclosure, we're pinch hitting on this post and admittedly are a simple jeans and tees kind of gal. So the forthcoming fashion critique is prefaced as the girl-next-door who's aware Blake and Rachel are both fashion plates in their own right but is simply just calling it like we see it. (So help a sister out below and vote).

Blake Lively's a beautiful girl, but what on earth is she wearing? That's not a dress! That's half a dress. Is the skirt made entirely of lace? Hmmm.

Rachel McAdams, on the other hand, looked great in all the pictures from the premiere... until we got to the one above where her legs are parted and you can see she's not wearing a dress. She's wearing a one-piece strapless pants-suit. If that thing were made of denim, she'd fit right in at the roller derby in 1977.
