Ashton Kutcher Tweets farewell to Brittany Murphy: 'See you on the other side kid.'
Ashton Kutcher, Brittany Murphy's former boyfriend, was one of the first of her famous friends to Tweet about her passing.
Kutcher co-starred with Murphy in the 2003 comedy-romance film "Just Married," and the two dated from 2002 to 2003.
After a few hours of incoming Tweets from fans offering condolences to his Twitter site, many asking for confirmation, Kutcher finally Tweeted:
"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."
He Tweeted again a more personal message to Brittany:
"see you on the other side kid."
