'American Idol' Adam Lambert gives finale costume, curt answers at San Diego Hard Rock
Could "American Idol" star Adam Lambert be getting tired of the spotlight?
The outspoken singer seemed unusually subdued Dec. 3 while donating his costume from the "AI" season finale to the San Diego branch of the Hard Rock Hotel.
Lambert answered as quickly as he could questions about his music and the recent controversy around his act, according to the San Diego News network.
- On the hullabaloo surrounding his American Music Awards performance: "I think I've talked about it enough, to be honest."
- On his penchant for wearing black: "I like dark colors. They're sexier."
- On keeping his voice in shape: "Water and sleep."
Yikes. Don't let the haters get you down, Adam.

He was battling a stomach flu, and his answers may have not been lengthy, but they were not "curt". He was, as always, professional, polite, and charming.
And it is definitely time to put the AMA fiasco to bed. He has answered the questions a gazillion times, and frankly, reporters who still insist on bringing it up are just giving lip service to the Liberty Counsel, which is what that group of gay bashers wants. He is taking a hit for homophobia which is alive and well in America. Jerry Falwell would be so proud.
Let it go, people, this young guy made a mistake, but he is still one of the most talented and charming new stars of the decade.
He was really sick.
Yes Adam, you have answered the AMA questions ENOUGH! The reporters out there need to get a job and find something else to run in the ground! I don't feel that Adam made a mistake that night. We fans out here in fan land LOVE YOU Adam!!!Sorry you were feeling bad yesterday. Hope today you feel better!
I listened to the interviews, and they weren't "curt" at all. He was very polite and friendly, actually. His answers were a tad shorter than usual, but two of the interviewers thanked him for making the appearance despite being sick with the flu. I thought he was amazingly congenial considering that he was ill and had a fever!
Low profile is the best policy.
We love & support you Adam!
he was not "curt". have you bothered watching any of the video footage of that day? he was as friendly as he always is. yikes! way to be biased!
Wow. I'm so sick of bloggers trying to make nasty headlines over everything Adam says and does. He was sick and STILL gave tons of interviews and made this very nice appearance at the Hard Rock Hotel. Adam is so sweet and genuine, he really deserves a break from all these bloggers.
I'm impressed that Adam showed up for the event despite the fact that he obviously was not feeling well. His answers weren't "curt." He was as polite and friendly as always. If he didn't talk as much as he usually does, it's probably because he didn't feel up to chatting all day. Cut the poor guy some slack.
If you had any integrity you'd change your headline. The had the flu and was battling a fever. Honestly, it wouldn't have taken any research at all, but you chose to take the low road.
I love what Donna in Boston wrote..."I can't tolerate intolerant ignorance."
Doesn't that make you INTOLERANT?
