As more information surrounding the details of Brittany Murphy's death emerge the picture gets even scarier.Murphy, who died Sunday morning after going into cardiac arrest had been vomiting and complaining that she felt very ill in the hours before she was discovered unconscious by her mother in the shower, reports TMZ.
According to sources, Brittany had been taking prescription medication for flu-like symptoms the past few days and that several prescriptions were found at the house in her name, as well as her mother's and her husband's.
"There were a lot ... a lot of prescriptions in the house," one source tells TMZ.
An autopsy will be performed on Monday or Tuesday to determine the exact cause of death, but it could take weeks to get back toxicology reports.

Um, oops... did you *mean* to write that Brittany Murphy was discovered by a MOTH?!? Lol!
"she was discovered unconscious by her moth in the shower, reports TMZ."
Thanks for the catch Kent. That's what happens when you're typing as fast as you can at 10:30 on a Sunday night. Of course, better a moth than a Mothra.
This is an entertainment NEWS site. What happened to spell checking? Proof reading? Journalistic integrity?Type as fast as you want, but don't just click submit when you're done. That's quite a cop-out of an excuse.
Anyone wondering if she had untreated swine flu? It sounds like she was taking medication for the flu but probably not the actual swine flu. Add that with being very skinny/malnourished that might of killed her. I would look at the doctor that treated her.
Gotta love those "sources"!!!
The flu does kill a few thousand people every year, even younger adults.
