'Twilight's' Taylor Lautner almost kisses Taylor Swift on 'SNL'
Taylor Lautner showed his "Twilight Saga" costar Robert Pattinson how to successfully -- and amusingly -- handle relationship rumors during his opening monologue on "Saturday Night Life."
"There's a lot of rumors out there about me being romantically linked to a certain country singer.. Reba and I are just friends ... with benefits, of course," Lautner joked as the camera cut to Kenan Thompson dressed up as Reba McEntire. "I've also become close with a singer named Taylor Swift."
Much to our surprise, it turns out that Lautner was not only at the VMAs with Swift but was on stage when the infamous Kanye West incident went down, idly standing by as Kanye stole his Lautner's girl's moment.
"I guess I could have done a little more," he admitted, as two mannequins of Kanye West and Taylor Swift were brought out. Then he ripped his jacket of (but not his shirt) and slayed the audience with a series of martial arts moves.
"You messed with the wrong Taylors," the actor said before knocking off Kanye's cardboard head.
Lautner stopped himself before kissing the Taylor stand-in.
"I'm sorry, I can't. My heart belongs to someone else," he said while looking at Reba (Thompson).
"Hey Reba," Lautner said before blowing a kiss and winking at Thompson, mimicking Swift's kiss to Lautner during her "SNL" monologue last month.

Frankly, it's nice to see two celebrities having some fun with all the rumors about their personal lives. Not like SOME "Twilight" co-stars we could name.

Wow. YOu thought the opening monologue was good? If anything it was a guide to RPatz on what not to do. I got major secondhand embarrassment when no one in the audience laughed. I agreed with them. Last night's SNL was one of the worst in the season so far. Blake Lively's was better.
TL was honestly great on SNL. Somethings wrong with whoever thinks different. He ws funny, which I didnt really expect. Taylors are taking over the world!! LoL He was better than Blake L., and just as awesome as TaySwift's...maybe hers was a lil better haha
