What the hey happened to James Franco's hair?
James Franco, who has become famous for falling asleep in his Columbia University classroom -- oh, like you never did -- turned up at a recent event with the strangest dark, wavy hair we've ever seen on a non-Halloween night.
Is this a wig? A shag rug remnant? A bad perm?
We're thinking the dastardly do is for his princely part in the fantasy comedy, "Your Highness."
Or maybe having bad hair goes with playing a bad guy on "General Hospital." His recurring role starts Friday, Nov. 20.

I know! His hair looks terrible! It seems to be the color & length that he has to wear in GH. But on this particular night he should have run a brush thru that mop! Oh, for shame! Such a handsome young man with the worst hair on this one night!
I believe that he's ultimately growing out the hair for his role as Jeff Buckley in "Mystery White Boy."
