'Twilight New Moon's' Rob Pattinson yanked out of Ryan Seacrest interview. 'Rude! Se-kur-ity!'
Inappropriateness seems to be spreading like a virus in Hollywood.
First, Carrie Prejean unplugs her microphone and threatens to walk off Larry King's show when the talk show host dares to ask her why she dropped her lawsuit.
"You're being inappropriate, Larry," Prejean said as she got ready to leave the set.
Now watch Robert Pattinson cut short Ryan Seacrest's "New Moon" premiere interview.
Ryan made the fatal inappropriate error of asking how Rob handles the rumors regarding Kristen Stewart. Now call us crazy but how could Pattison leave a brother hangin' when it was just 24 hours ago that Seacrest was on "The Ellen DeGeneres" Show professing his undying affection for the "Twilight" star.
Isn't this making a mountain out of a molehill?
Or are the Summit publicists worried that it will spoil the "New Moon" experience if fans find out A) Rob and Kristen are really dating. B) Rob and Kristen aren't really dating. or C) Kristen's really dating Dakota Fanning.
Joke, it's a joke.
We feel pretty sure that Rob could dodge a question like this with humor and aplomb.
(And for the record, we were expressing ourselves Bon Qui Qui-style in the headline. "Se-kur-ity" is not misspelled). You'll understand after watching this:

Ha! That just made me snort. Funny vid.
I'm guessing that Seacrest and his producers were informed not to ask any questions about that topic, he chose to ignore the interview guideline and hence the end of interview. More often than not the interviewer probably feels that the guest and their management wouldn't have the guts to stop the interview, here they called the bluff.
I'm interested to see if this hurts Seacrest in the future in terms of booking guests. I'm 100% sure that it won't hurt Patterson's career or his ability to book media appearances.
Rob and Ryan actually come off really well here. Its those publicists that come off looking absolutely ridiculous. Were they that afraid that Rob couldn't handle the question?!
It's obvious the publicist says and signs "2 minutes" when he walked in there, the interview was going over that time - I think he just had to go and it happened to be that question, nothing more!! People are making a big deal out of nothing, when I heard about this before seeing it the media accuses Rob of "walking out" but that's not the case at all, Ryan went over his time limit.
I don't think it's more rude not to answer a personal question than it is to ask one. Maybe if more celebrities walk out on interviews when asked sensitive questions, interviewers will learn to have more manners.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that bad audio was disrupting the interview. Upon tech analysis, it turned out that it was Seacrest crushing over "Rob" like it was a make out scene on "Saved by the Bell"
Before Seacrest even started asking the question you can see that the publicist is giving him the time is up cut the interview signal and Secrest totally ignores her and asks the question anyway. She stops the interview because there is no more time. I don't think she cared what the question was about.

When ryan asked the question rob had a smile on his face, he was going to answer, but it would have been a humorous answer. His publicist started freaking out and turned it into something it shouldnt have been.
I think Ryan and Rob handled it well by laughing Rob said, "What I can say is..." with a laugh, they shook hands, and he left.
