"Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer explained the appeal of "Twilight: New Moon" at the LA premiere.
It's all about first love. And real gut-wrenching heartbreak that happens to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's characters.
And it sounds like she once had a devastating breakup of her own that may have inspired her to write about with such understanding.
"It was very cathartic to write it," she admits
