'The Biggest Loser's' Rebecca Meyer loses weight, gains a man, sets back feminism

rebeccameyer_danielwright_biggestloser.jpgWe don't know for sure if  Rebecca Meyer's mother ever told her that any boy would be lucky to have her and if she'd just lose a hundred or so pounds she'd be sure to snag one. After all, she has such a pretty face.

Yet that's what happened. Following her ouster from "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesday night, the 25-year-old nanny trucked on over to "The Jay Leno Show" and spilled that in addition to getting healthy she got herself a man -- in the form of fellow contestant Daniel Wright.

"Daniel was my best friend, is my best friend and leaving the show we talked for like five, six-hour conversations and then, you know, he told me he had feelings," Meyer told Leno.

This was Wright's second time on the show. He was last season's heaviest contestant, going from 454 to 312 lbs. Since Season 8 was all about "second chances" he got an opportunity to come back and lose another 35 lbs. before being eliminated last week.

"Daniel and I have gone through the same thing," Meyer says. "I mean, he's gone through an even more intense version of it and I fell in love with my best friend."

We're not saying these crazy kids can't make a go of it. After all, Suzy Preston and Matt Hoover from Season 2 got married and had a couple of kids.

Still, it's kind of like A.A. They should probably wait at least a year on their own as their new selves before getting involved with another person.

Then again, Meyer is 25 to Wright's tender young 20. Pounce like the jungle cat you are, Rebecca. Time's a-wastin'.

It's not out yet but the trailer of former Gucci designer Tom Ford's directorial debut (an adaption of a Christopher Isherwood book) is the kind of thing that should be set as fashion homework.

You might not know for sure if Rebecca's mom ever called her fat(did your mom ever called you stupid) but I do know whoever wrote this article should be writing for a high school newspaper!!

Well they say that love is blind. Guess this helps prove it

considering most of the ppl that post on here seem to barely have an high school education, it is fitting.

This is one of the worst...most pointlessly insulting...least informative articles ever written on zap2it. This article is a disgrace.

Hey Brill Bundy, thanks for a completely poorly written, pointless article about what, I'm not sure. 5 minutes I'll never get back. If I see your name in the byline, I'll skip the next article.
