Susan Boyle sings 'Dream' on 'Today' show in Rockefeller Center
If you're watching the "Today" show -- or in New York for the Thanksgiving holidays and are anywhere near Rockfeller Plaza -- on Monday morning, you may hear a familiar tear-jerker tune.British singing sensation Susan Boyle will perform on the "Today" show, singing three tracks from her new album, which has broken pre-orders records on Amazon.com. Her album hits stores on Tuesday.
Frankly, we're waiting for a Susan Boyle mash-up of "I Dreamed a Dream" and "Stairway to Heaven."
Boyle says of her new album, "The album itself is a reflection of my whole life. I've waited to become a professional singer and now it's become real."
Will you watch her "Today" performance? Did you pre-order her album?
Or are you over the whole Susan Boyle phenom?

I can't imagine that I will ever be over Susan. I absolutely love her. I will tape the Today Show to view after work tomorrow. I just watched her performance on the X Factor which was aired last night in Britain and she was brilliant. I wish I could be in New York tomorrow to hear her sing. I have preordered the album and intend to purchase additional ones to give as gifts.
Elizabeth, the Susan Boyle
phenomenon will never be over for her millions of fans around the world. Did I pre-order? You bet - 4 copies. And tomorrow I will be buying another one as I can't wait another day to hear her glorious voice. Will be watching the Today Show also.
Making special trip to the U.S. to buy CD tomorrow. Will record Today show performance. Gotta love Susan.
Saludos
I'll never be "over" Susan Boyle---as hers is the best voice I've ever heard in all my long life! And I'm always thinking of someone else I MUST buy another of her CDs for for the holidays! You GO, Susan! Continue to "rock that audience!"
You are too funny. What is it about Susan that you feel gives you the right to be so dismissive and demeaning. Is it because she is so popular you figure she can't be that good? Is it because you feel her demographics are people you naturally feel superior to? I can't for the life of me figure it out.
In answer to your inane question. No, I and a few million others are not "over" Susan Boyle and yes, I pre ordered the album, and will be in a store at opening in the morning to buy another. And, duh, yes I will be watching the Today show tomorrow.
If it makes you feel superior to be snarky about Susan, have at it darlin', it will make absolutely no difference to anyone.
I will never get enough of Susan Boyle --- she is by far the greatest singer of our time and she is just warming up. Her millions and millions of fans can't even wait for her next CD. I am so excited about her NYCity concert and I hope she will have time to tour (taking care of her health, first, of course) I LOVE SUSAN BOYLE. I have already bought multiple copies of I Dreamed A Dream for presents (everyone wants one)
I will watch the Today Show on-line. I didn't pre-order her album because I enjoy the scrum of fighting the line- ups at the stores.
I'm looking forward to her visit to Toronto in December where I hope to see her in person so...nope...I'm still not over the phenom that is Susan Boyle. Can't imagine I will be anytime soon, either.
I will watch her performance tomorrow morning.
I did not preorder her CD, but I will be at the local Best Buy tomorrow when they open.
Susan's millions of fans made her a "phenom". She didn't ask for this - she simply wants to be a professional singer. I, as one of the millions, will never tire of this wonderful woman and her magnificent voice.
Yes, I will watch the Today show tomorrow. Yes, I did pre-order, but will also buy extra copies tomorrow. Susan is an amazing talent that only comes along infrequently in the music industry. I think we will be blown away by her as she matures into her role as a superstar.
You bet I'm going to watch Susan on the Today Show, and I've got two of her cd's coming in the mail I've had ordered since September first. (Over the whole Susan Boyle phenom?)Nope,no now,not ever.Susan Boyle is A SUPER STAR,a magnificent singer with a personality that makes her fans absolutely adore her.
