Sarah Palin tells comedian: Canada should 'reform' health care. Gotcha again!

Sarah Palin recently talked to Canadian comedian Mary Walsh of  the news parody show "22 Minutes," and told her Canada needs to "reform" its health care system.

Really?

Mary -- in character as conservative Marg Delahunty -- showed up at the Borders bookstore where Palin was signing books.

"I just wanted to ask you if you have any words of encouragement for Canadian conservatives who have worked so hard to try to diminish the kind of socialized medicine we have up there," Walsh shouted to Palin as she approached the table.

Her handlers kept Palin from responding initially. But as Palin left the signing, Walsh caught up with her in the parking lot, where Palin gave Canada advice about getting rid of its public health care system.

"Keep the faith," Palin said, "because common-sense conservatism can be plugged in there in Canada too. In fact, Canada needs to reform its health care system and let the private sector take over some of what the government has absorbed."

This is the second time Sarah has been fooled by a Canadian comedy act.

Last fall, a Montreal comedian fooled her into thinking she was speaking with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.  Oh, merde!
