Rihanna will open up about Chris Brown on 'Good Morning America'

Rihanna is ready to rumble.

For the first time since being assaulted by Chris Brown in February, Rihanna is speaking out.

The singer reportedly will discuss the incident in an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Thursday, a rep for Rihanna confirmed to Access Hollywood.

An extended interview will be featured on Friday night's "20/20."

ABC has been running promos for  the interview this weekend and again Monday during "The View."

And naturally, this is perfect timing to publicize Rihanna's brand-new album.
