UPDATED: People is now reporting reps for both Reese and Jake have told the magazine "They are still together."
If you believe People magazine, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have split up.
They quote an unnamed source "close to the actress."
But Us Weekly begs to differ.
Their story today insists that "Contrary to reports elsewhere Sunday, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have not broken up."
And a rep for Witherspoon tells Usmagazine.com: "It's not true. They have not split."
Who do you believe: an unnamed source or Witherspoon's rep?
Gosh, we'll take the rep any day. Because they never protect their clients, right?

Who cares about these two liars? Jake's time has passed. He screwed up by having a faux romance instead of being himself. The old-style Hollywood coverup no longer gets respect. Look at how much people respect Neil Patrick Harris and his career is in great shape. Jake is a phoney.
Nothing seems to be enough for this picky b**** - TicTacDo Just read this and thought about Ms.Witherspoon. It's obvious that Jake was so in love with her and probably bent over backwards to help her be a good mom. She just seems to uptight – sometimes you just have to go with it – nothing will EVER be perfect, Reese!
Plus, she ain't getting any younger... time's a wasting Reese – don't throw away the good ones, they won't be there once you grow up!
