EXCLUSIVE: What did David Hockney and Frank Gehry think of Lady Gaga?
Hollywood stars mingled with LA's art elite at the MOCA 30th anniversary gala on Saturday night.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Pierce Brosnan Eva Mendes, Rose McGowan, Kate Beckinsale, Chloe Sevigny, Christina Ricci, Eva Mendes, Ridley Scott, Brett Ratner, Brian Grazer, along with David Hockney, Jeff Koons and architect Frank Gehry came to view 30 years of art collections and to see Lady Gaga perform with the Bolshoi Ballet.

The performance art piece , "Ballets Russes Italian Style featured Lady Gaga (In a bright blond curly wig and black lipstick) singing and playing on a rotating Steinway pink piano with butterflies, designed by Damien Hirst.
The Bolshoi Ballet wore hats designed by architect Frank Gehry, masks by filmmakers Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin and costumes by Miuccia Prada.
Lady Gaga sang her new single, a moody
ballad called, "Speechless." Afterwards, surrounded by 3 bodyguards, she told Dishrag, "This song is
perhaps closest to my heart of all of my songs. I wrote it for my father. "
Gwen Stefani told us, "I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This night is over the top and just stunning. Lady Gaga is truly an intense singer and performer. Good for her. Art is so vital."
Frank Gehry remarked: "I might be 80 but I really got into her. Who knew she could sing like that?"
Jeff Koons remarked "This night is so genuinely about the love of art. I wouldn't miss this. Contemporary art and all art is a mainstay of any art and culture. LA is now central to that."
KD Lang told us, "The dance was incredible." How did she feel about Lady Gaga? "I'm a little surprised-I didn't know she could sing a ballad like that."
