Don't know who Tareq and Michaele Salahi are? Neither do the Obamas
"Real Housewives of D.C." co-stars Tareq and Michaele Salahi are making headlines before the show's debut for crashing a White House party attended by President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, Rahm Emanuel and others.
A post on Michaele Salahi's Facebook page claims the couple were invited:
"I was honored to be invited to attend the First State Dinner hosted by President Obama & the First Lady to honor India. In June 2010, the America's Polo Cup will be between INDIA & the UNITED STATES. Please join me in this cultural celebration of politics, diplomacy, fashion, sports, entertainment & family fun."
Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told the Washington Post the Salahis slipped past "a Secret Service checkpoint which did not follow proper procedure to ensure these two individuals were on the invited guest list."
Sneaking past government agents? That's the kind of thing we want in a reality show. Is there a "Real Housewives" franchise for federal prison?

Geez, I kind of remember the people who live in the suburbs thinking its "just okay" to appear on a house... just when a banquet is about to end like a mushroom...
