Carrie Prejean warns women: Don't make sex tapes because you may get famous

Carrie Prejean stopped by "The View" on Tuesday to explain why she sold a tape of herself masturbating and  to go into more depth on her new book: "Still Standing."

Prejean explained that the solo sex tape she made at at age 17 was the "biggest mistake" of her life.

She offered this advice to other young girls thinking of following in her handprints.

"In my book, I talk about how young women all the time are doing this and nothing is private any more -- nothing is private. And you know when you're young and you think: I'll never be famous, I'll never be a celebrity -- think you will."

Prejean then praised her personal decision to go public about the self-pleasuring video. "It's embarrassing even talking about this right now," said the former topless model/Fox News poster child. "I've been on national TV discussing the worst mistake of my life. I mean, how many people are comfortable doing that?"

When Barbara Walters reminded her that she also had monetary reasons --  "But you did it also because you have a book out" -- Prejean admitted that was true but then got back on topic with claims of religious discrimination for her gay-marriage views.

What do you think of Carrie Prejean now? Has your opinion of this young woman changed since the sex-tape news? Can we believe anything she says?

You've got to be kidding me. 20 years after Vanessa Williams, ten years after the tom and pammy tape, what, eight years after the Paris tape and how many years after that Disney girl got busted for Sexting she figures this out?

Dumb as a post.

Ms. Prejean is a c***, a word that rhymes with "runt."

She is a hypocrite and I cannot wait until her 15 seconds of fame are over.

She's a hypocrite, and she's not very bright. End of story.

She is a powerful role model for all the would-be slutty Christian spokesmodel beauty queen sex tape stars. Jesus is a big fan and so am I.

I don't think I have ever seen a bigger hypocrite. She pretends she is a saint and acts like a harlot.

"Don't make sex tapes because you may get famous".. Are you kidding me? Most people don't make sex tapes and those who do are making them hoping to get famous. Go away Carrie and get over yourself.

I didn't mind her response on gay marriage during the pageant, even though I'm gay. She's entitled to her opinion and I respect the fact that she stated it clearly and directly and didn't side step the question. My problem with her now is that she seems to have thrown stones while living in a glass house. She seems a little judgemental of what some people do in private yet has done some questionable things herself.

Do not judge Miss Prejean.

That is her angry and wrathful God's job!

Carrie is STILL a hero to Christians for her views on gay marriage regardless of any mistakes she has made. She had the curage to stand up against gay immorality for all good Christians! She STILL has more moralities in her little finger than ALL gays combined!

Does this mean that "Defenders of the Family" are advocating their 17 year old daughters sending videos of them pleasuring themselves to their boyfriends if they "really love" them?
