Why did January Jones date Ashton Kutcher? He got her straight off the farm.

Ashton and jan race to hilfiger ms 97

Maybe Ashton Kutcher had a good reason for cautioning January Jones about an acting career.

Amd_gq_cover He "was not supportive of my acting,"  the "Mad Men" star said in an interview in the November GQ. "He was like, 'I don't think you're going to be good at this.' "

But we did a little digging and found this photo of Jones on a date with Ash at an MS fundraiser in 1997.

She looks sweet, adorable, innocent, very corn-fed and fresh-faced. She wore almost no makeup, and clearly there were no hair color advisors or personal stylists in her life at that point.

Not that dorky Ashton was into his D&G designer suit phase, either. Check out his hair and tux.

But maybe Ash had a point. She definitely didn't look ready for the bright lights, big city back then.

But she has certainly proved him so wrong, didn't she? You go, girl.

As for the recent Web speculation that January's cleavage was digitally enhanced (by a few cup sizes) for the GQ cover, the mag's director of photography, Dora Somosi, has blogged that January "needed no help."

From what we can see from this 1997 photo, she's always been a natural beauty.

What do you think?

a natural beauty...pretty then, pretty now.

"He got her straight off the farm."? WTF?! How old are you, 5?!

Snead continues to reveal herself as a moron. Not that I'm a fan of Ashton Kutcher, but prior to That 70s show, he was one of the highest paid fashion models at that time. The suit and the hair was 1997 era trend.
