VIDEO: Whitney Houston's live wardrobe malfunction on 'X-Factor'!
Whitney Houston's performance on Sunday night's "X Factor" was notable because of a wardrobe malfunction that unnerved the singer while she sang live. After it was over, she calmly explained, "I sang myself out of my clothes."
The performance followed a master class with her and Clive Davis advising the aspiring singers.
Her responses to host Dermot O'Leary's questions on the live show were somewhat delayed and sprinkled with "ums." Asked when the album was out, Whitney paused, before saying: "Yeah, the um... the album? It should release this weekend, or next week sometime. I'll be back here in April for the tour."

When asked about her directness with the contestants, Whitney looked over at Simon Cowell, asking him: "Yeah, is that why you call me Lippy?"
The Daily Mail reports that she grimaced at Cowell, adding, "Simon calls me Lippy 'cause I say what's on my mind just like he does."
Asked what she thought of the contestants, Whitney looked at the floor and said: "I thought that they were....um.... how do I put this, really good?"
Whitney appeared lost for words when asked to sum up the acts and fiddled with her nose before saying: "So that's um ... they're young. They have a lot of room to grow.... Um, like Clive told me, practice, practice, practice."
Yeah, more of that, Whitney.

This has now been cited in hundreds of aritcles; but trust me, this is NO Janet Jackson malfunction (I feel sorry for her, it was really Justin's fault.) Whitney is looking sexy again, however! Men in their 40s and early 50s are sure to find her attractive! This is REAL sexy, not the tatoos/ear piercings/stripped clothing oh so common nowadays. Whitney's next stop is Italy, then world promotion is a question mark. She will have 5+ months until her tour, so I hope she keeps training/promoting.
the twins behaved themselves and never left home.
I thought she did fine and handled the situation like a pro. Whitney has always been quirky and guarded in interviews that is why she doesn't do many.
my only criticism is as she is finding her way back, she has to work on the cardio to get more breath support but i believe she wil get there. I also thought that she looked beautiful
I can't believe that the writer is quoting the daily mail- that is a notorious tabloid in the UK known for making up and exaggerating stories... ridiculous!
The strap was a little tight and gave way. Maybe whoever hooked or buttoned it didnt do it right. Whatever. These things happen. Nothing to make a big fuss over. The fact that she started to sing the song early should have been what was called out. Probably just nerves but the Whitney we used to know has left the building.
Maybe if she wore a dress that wasn't 2 sizes too small for her it wouldn't of burst open!!
Michael you're right, it was a strap that snapped! Nothing like Miss Jackson!!
Am I the only one who thought she was tired? (or worse?!) Especially at the end when Dermot interviewed her, she barely knew where she was let alone what he was on about!!
