TLC suspends 'Jon and Kate plus 8' shooting and slams 'opportunistic' Jon Gosselin

and opportunistic Kate is no better. someone please pull this show and give those kids some sense of normalcy in what is left of their childhoods.

What an arrogant ***. If its so detrimental to his kids now, why was it not when they were much smaller? He saw the dollar signs flying away, not he wants them back! Poor jerk needs to get a real job and get back to work. No body cares about him anymore.....except maybe his poor parents who have to be completely embarassed to have a son like him.

TLC knows they have a liability problem here since they took a perfectly fine family and ruined them. Maybe if TLC gets sued for a couple hundred mil that will put an end to the insanity. TLC is doing their best to demonized Jon, but it isn't going to work. TLC sells fame and money but the 'reality' is just the opposite. Hope J&K put their marriage back together - it is obvious that is what Jon wants. She still thinks fame and her stud are her future but it's a empty hole.

Kate is a greedy, opportunistic, control freak. The show should have been called, how to run your man away by degrading him every chance you get. I don't feel sorry for them. Any of them! Kate got every free gift she could squeeze out of the show & anyone who watched it. The worst was planning to renew vows in Hawaii, get a free wedding & make promises that you knew you couldn't keep. Now she wonders how they can raise a family of 8 on a nurses' & IT tech's salaries. Very well, I might say & you should have thought about that when you decided to have 6 babies. Sure you may actually have to work while the kids are in school. But people have been doing it forever so what makes them too good for that? They need to be wondering how to let those kids know that they can't have everything they want & stop being so bratty. But Kate would rather have them raised on tv during the most difficult time in their lives. I never understood what made their lives so special anyway. They aren't the first & certainly won't be the last to raise 8 kids. Get back to nursing & bring some normalcy into those kids' lives. If they actually cried because their lives weren't going to be exposed anymore, then you should be focusing on showing them that they are regular people who don't need a camera around 24/7 in order to live a happy life. Shame on you for letting them be exposed this long. Clearly, these kids' childhood privacy was sold to the highest bidder. And they didn't look well mannered by no means. Spoiled little brats for the world to see & judge shouldn't be rewarded with a TV show. They need privacy to mature & go through adolescence without a camera there to catch every mistake they make.

Jon & Kate need to sell that huge house, go back to work, & live within their means. You've secured your kids college education. Be thankful for that & go back to work! A nurse & IT tech can provide a stable home for 8 kids. I've seen it done well with much less. Stop being such an opportunistic & start earning your keep!

Btw, why are there not any black families on reality shows? TLC need to work on their diversity. Black families have been raising large households before it was popular and have done so well. Not only that, they've also been raising white kids as their nannys. Yet not one black family is interesting enough to gain the fortune & fame that reality shows bring?
Last year Food Network finally brought in some blacks to cook! Lord knows that if it's one thing black families can do & do well is raise a large family in the church, while holding down a job, & cook!
Where's the diversity? That's all I'm saying!

There is a reality t.v show for black people, unfortunately it's called "Cops"
