Rachel Campos-Duffy: Obama's abortion stand disqualifies him for Nobel prize

Whoopi Goldberg brings up the Nobel Peace Prize on today's "The View."

And Elisabeth Hasselbeck's sub, Rachel Campos-Duffy -- a former reality TV star turned blogger for Anderson Cooper's AC 360 show, says she was shocked by Obama's win.

Campos-Duffy brings up Mother Teresa's statement that there will not be world peace until we end abortion. "I think personally, for me, that it's Obama's radical abortion position that makes him the least qualified for the prize."

Joy Behar adds: "We were starting wars. Now we're not anymore. I don't know what's going to happen in Afghanistan. It is a little ironic that he is involved in two wars and he would be considered the peace person. But he didn't start them, and he is trying to end them, and he is trying to bring diplomacy around the world and start a new conversation."

Campos Duffy asks, "So basically, he just gets a prize for not being George Bush?"

And Behar laughs, adding, "That's true. He does get a prize for not being George Bush."

What do you think?

So why did you stop the quote there? The next line, from Rachel Campos-Duffy was "So then I get one too!" Hey, why not me, too? After all, I'm a stay at home mom of four, and I am not George Bush either. Why don't I get a Nobel Peace Prize? Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm not far enough to the Left. Bravo to Rachel Campos-Duffy for being brave enough to speak the truth about abortion in the lion's den.

Rachel,
Do you realize how stupid you sound? Rachel, you are making a choice to have six babies, some women have made a choice not to have any babies.

So she's allowed to impose her views on everyone else and it's okay, right? Give me a break! Rachel has a ton of kids...bravo to her if that's what she wants to do. But because the President is pro-choice that automatically disqualifies him and anyone else who is? She can take her radical views and shove them!! Wait a minute, why do I even care? This is a chick who couldn't even land a spot on the VIEW and the only time they ask her back is when she's having another kid!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Who the hell is Rachel Campos-Duffy? Who cares what she thinks! Women have the right to choose for themselves and that's it, bottom-line. The self-righteous, self-serving, hypocritical Right need to... well, you know.

oh anyone cares what this dumb skank from Real World says? She is a prime time BIGOT, always has been always will. Mother Teresa was Catholic, so her Catholic views are imposed on everybody? I THINK NOT.

These ppl will be against ANYTHING Obama does, so it doesn't matter what they say.

And, i'm sure Mother Teresa was against bigotry too, so how about that Rachel??

To Rachel: EFF YOU!!

Did Mary and Rachel protest last year's winner Martti Ahtisaari? Do they even know who he is or how the Prize is chosen? Have they been making a list of the abortion views of the people who choose the winners or know if abortion is legal in Norway and Sweden? So instead of attacking the President, why don't they write to the Peace committee and tell them that they want every single candidate and the people who nominate to aver that they are anti-abortion. "I do solemnly swear that in accepting the Nobel Peace prize that I am anti-abortion." That way, you'll at least be constructive with your opposition to abortion instead of just spouting nonsensical gibberish. Why in the heck would this Rachel get the award? She is of no importance to this world. Or, why doesn't Mary nominate her? Or even better, start your own anti-abortion prize. Good luck with that!

I have no idea who she is, but I wish she would disappear back into the woodwork or reality TV!

Rachel will get a spot on the new Fox talk-show "The Right Wing View". You know she's never getting invited back to the View for her little wingnut diatribe.

So, what you all are saying is that we should be free to express ourselves as long as we don't believe that abortion stops a beating heart within its mother's womb? As soon as a person states the belief that abortion is wrong, that person becomes a bigot, a nut and is worthy of having expletives hurled at her with no restraint? Interesting. I thought freedom of expression meant freedom for everyone.
