Levi Johnston is working out for 'Playgirl' shoot. What kind of curls is he doing?

Levi Johnston is finally going to reveal the naked truth. No, not about Sarah Palin.

He's reportedly working out to prepare for his upcoming photo spread in Playgirl," working out six days a week for the next three weeks.

That's good because he looks a bit Pillsbury D. in a GQ photo with his baby son.

The issue should be out by the end of the year, reports Us Weekly. Which seems like an awfully tight deadline.

Johnston -- an unemployed high school dropout -- is also in a new TV commercial for pistachios.  As Johnston cracks open a nut, a voice-over explains, "Now Levi Johnston does it with protection."

That explains the presence of his omnipresent large and burly bodyguard/manager, or whatever that guy is. 

He must be Levi's protection?
