LISTEN: Jennifer Lopez rebrands herself as Lola: Is it her version of Sasha Fierce?

Listen to Jennifer Lopez's new song,  "Fresh out the Oven," just released under her new name, Lola.

A website and Twitter account were launched today with the teaser "Who Is Lola?"

Beyonce recently re-branded herself as Sasha Fierce. And country singer Garth Brooks has an alternative rocker alter ego named Chris Gaines.

Will this name change help JLo's music career? Can anything?

What do you think of her new song?

First, it was JLo. Then it was 'Stop calling me JLo.' Now it's Lola?

We're confused. "No touchie the cookie?"

She stole my name, lol! Her time's come and gone. Go back to your L.I. mansion. I don't hear anyone missing your cheezy a$$ movies or lame azz muzak.

Who is guiding these idiot's? This song is just a bunch of stuff thrown together. Name change or not, the song is a mess. And enough with the rap-crap.

wow !!!! its OF THE HOOK //
very goooooood/ wow sounds very sexy

I really miss Jennifer Lopez the real one the original one that actually sang, You are right about all the rap crap enough already. Not impressed here, it sounds like the past two albums. I guess when you have all the money in the world you lose your creativity. what a shame

Song is hot JLO is #1~!!!

Her super sexy voice really does make this a song worth buying.

She never could sing what are you talking about???????????????????

She is a good dancer that is all!!

horrible actress, she cannot carry a note!!!

In before "The Artist Formerly Known as J-Lo".

These artists are delusional, Beyonce, Mariah, J-lo, Ciara,etc...it's not there fault, they're trying to just figure out what's going to sell...they can make the best music ever and it might not see the light of day. Letoya Luckett has one of the best 2009 albums and she didn't sell, Mariah has one of her best albums and it didn't go...the music has lacked creativity and uniqueness for so long, people just don't respond overall.

When artists sell, it's because of a marketing machine (Beyonce, Mylie Cyress) or outstanding music (Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Jay-z) and just plain old luck, but sooner or later, they'll all hit a wall.

It's what's happened to the music consumer, soul-less music, image over talent, technology, piracy...what the record companies did to the industry has caught up with them. Until the melody is put back into the music, real songwriting and musicians grinding it out to come up those masterpieces we still love, it's going to be hit or miss for some time to come.

It will take awhile to change the listening taste, a decade, but it'll be worth it!

I like RHOA's Kim's "Tardy for the Party" way better than this garbage!
