Did David Letterman's ratings inspire Jimmy Kimmel to date a staffer?
Oh, NO! Has Jimmy Kimmel pulled a David Letterman? Has he also done "terrible, terrible things"?
No. Not really. But there are some eerie similarities.
When Kimmel and Sarah Silverman split last year, the talk show host started dating Molly McNearney, a longtime staffer on his ABC show, who had been recently promoted to co-head writer.
A rep for Kimmel, 41, confirmed news of the relationship.
Then she began writing for the show in 2006.
Molly was promoted to her current position in May 2008.
Jimmy and Sarah called it quits in July 2008.
What is it with talk show hosts and female staffers? Can't these guys find women to date who don't work for them?

Missing to the above time line?? Jimmy and Sarah got back together in the Fall of 2008 and broke up early in 2009.
I've got a better question for you. Why is it that bottom feeders that write about pointless gossip are so entjralled about male hosts that have cosensual sex with female staffers. It's not like they go "trolling". The women seem to be attracted to them like moths to a light. I doubt that it's any different than any other office. The women are attracted to the power.

first of all none of you know what the hell you're talking about. jimmy is a scumbag! molly's boyfriend was the other writer assistant on the show when jimmy started sleeping with her. then fired the kid, sarah dumps jimmy when she finds out and molly broke up with her boyfriend. talk about playing dirty pool. on top of that molly got the promotion that another male writer should have gotten. so shut up gloria allred about women always getting screwed because of another female employee sleeping with the boss. men get screwed too. molly got someone else's job who was far more deserving and she only got it because she was screwing the boss and jimmy screwed her boyfriend by firing him and taking his girl.
By the way, guillermo sells coke on the show at the back security gate if you ever want an eight ball at south of the border prices.
