Susan Boyle rides Rolling Stones' 'Wild Horses' on 'America's Got Talent'!

What do you think of Susan Boyle's version of the British rock group Rolling Stones' classic song "Wild Horses"?

The song is off her new album, due out soon, which promises to be a series of covers, apparently.

She starts out slow, but the song does build with her room-rocking voice.

What do you think? Was the Stones song a good pick for her first song sung in the U.S.?

What other Stones song would have worked better?

"Sympathy for the Devil"? "You Can't Always Get What You Want"?

Your suggestions?

I think it was an overwhelming success. Susan used the feelings from the loss of her mother to tap into emotions that filled her powerful voice and it was brilliant.
Once again, she has made a cover hers.

This is just my personal opinion. I expected much more from her in terms of the song she chose for her U.S. debut. "Wild Horses" is an ok song, but "Dream" would had been a much nicer song to present and I think she would had been more expressive.

Also, she was a bit stiff, which took away from her stage presence. And what was up with the hairdo?

Very difficult song to sing and she did it very well. Good for her! She should sing whatever she wants to.

Just TERRIFIC. Letting her emotions show through an absolute thrilling voice. Extraordinary to find all wrapped up in one.

All the other words written over and over and over about Susan are so redundant. The best part of it all is the lady has an incredible voice and puts so much heart into the song that tears flow from our hearts as we listen...that's why we love her so...she is real!

I thought she was great.

Great !!!

She did a fabulous job -- she has a rich voice with nice resonance -- and she should be proud.

I really like this version, but changing the words gives it a different slant. I would have liked it much more if she had not changed the words. The original is my favorite song of all times.

Good choice and I loved the way she sang the song...it was very sincere. I also thought she looked spectacular!
