It was all about using your power at the 1st annual Variety Power of Women awards luncheon on Thursday. 

So who are the powerful women "House" star Olivia Wilde most admires? 

She applauds the way Angelina Jolie uses her celebrity status to bring attention to world suffering. And of course, there's always Oprah. 

But we got down to the nitty gritty about the new season of "House." 

Turns out she knows all about Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard's characters becoming roommates. 

"Oh, yes, House will definitely have a roommate. Not to give anything away but things are definitely changing for him. It makes for some good television."

 So, not to be nosy but how's her character feeling these days? 

Will she live or die? 

"So far, so good," she said, knocking on her head for luck.
